OPTIMIZING MENTAL PERFORMANCE WITH INTENTION + ACCESSIBILITY
Let's Collaborate to Reach Your Goals
Snapshot of Dr. Dani
My Approach
Person-centered therapy is the foundation of my practice. I believe that everyone has an innate ability to grow as they see fit. This process-oriented approach allows me to help clients identify goals, minimize constraints + challenges, and weigh out possible outcomes. With the incorporation of techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, process-orientation transitions to solution focus as new + creative ways are developed to restructure behavioral + thought pattens in the hopes of empowering optimal + sustainable peak performance. At the root of it all is positive psychology. This allows clients to refocus their attention on what makes life worth living through lenses related to happiness, compassion, hope, and strength.

Asking for Help
It is no secret that there is a stigma around asking for help. Studies show between 21-48% of athletes have felt depressed or experienced overwhelming anxiety. However, 75% are not sure how or who to ask for support. We're here to tell you that asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of. It takes courage. It takes honesty. It takes vulnerability.
At Candid Space, we offer a confidential + open environment for you to examine how your default behavioral + thought patterns can disrupt your performance in sport + in society. Some of the common struggles we see when working with athletes are listed below.
